 Maximiliano Baratero was born in Gálvez, province of Santa Fe, on February 10 of 1980 and at the moment he resides in Rosario.
In his childhood he already shows aptitudes for the drawing. Self-taught person, makes his first pictures at the age of fourteen years. In 1997 he is new recruit in the Liceo Municipal de Artes Visuales de Gálvez, studies that will definitively leave four years later due to deep differences with the institution. He begins from then a stage of intense experimentation that will take him in just a short time, to the dominion of different pictorial means. Graphite, watercolor, pie, oil, red, pencils of colors are used to shape the diverse subjects: rustic, naked pictures, landscapes, scenes, literary work illustrations, etc.
Scholarship holder of the Antorchas Foundation in 2002 for Clinic work carried out in the Provincial Museum of Fine Arts “Rosa Galisteo de Rodriguez” of Santa Fe and winner of 1º international prize “Conjugando las artes” organized by Novelarte Editorial of Cordoba in 2004, today the work of Maximiliano Baratero is introducing itself little by little in the world of the hyperrealism.
